Gesänge

Gesänge is based on three German folk songs from three different eras (Medieval, Renaissance, and Romantic) that slowly start to overlap. That merger results in a dense structure of cluster sounds. Consequently, the music becomes arrhythmic, and the folk-like nature is lost.
