De Poeta is the title of the Wessobrunn Prayer, sometimes called the Wessobrunn Creation Poem (German: Wessobrunner Gebet, Wessobrunner Schöpfungsgedicht). Believed to date from 790, it is among the earliest known poetic works in Old High German.
